The main source of excessive noise in service delivery is the drive-through, when headsets are often operated at excessive volume. 

Things you can do to minimise the risk. 

• Ask your employer to re-locate drive-through speakers closer to drivers, so that your headset can be turned down.
• Ask if alternative ear pieces can be provided.
